The New Classroom is Under Construction

I will be offering digital photography classes at all levels in my new classroom - part of the expanded studio area. Classes will begin when the snow and ice are gone - probably about April 1, 2008.

Check this site for updated information, registration and fees.

  • Learn how to use a digital camera - and how it works to make images.
  • Learn how to improve your images on a computer - and how to use them in emails and web sites.
  • This 4 hour-long class features hands-on computer training using Adobe Photoshop Elements
  • You will learn to use the most affordable and powerful image processing program available today.
  • Photoshop Elements runs on Macs or PCs.

Everything you always wanted to know about how digital cameras work: how to set them, how to use them. You will work with digital images on a computer using Abobe Photoshop Elements. Plan to learn about emailing images, saving them for the web, cropping, retouching, and printing.

Dick Sjolund was an award-winning professor at the University of Iowa for 34 years before retiring to start a photography studio. He has over 15 years of experience in digital photography and computer use.
